In a statement signed by the General Secretary of the ruling National Democratic Congress, Asiedu Nketia, the party acknowledged the endorsement John Mahama by Bukom Bank and other celebrities, but will not condone any indecent exposure and abusive language.
The statement made specific mention of a video in which Bukom Banku Takes off Shirt and Pants as he Celebrates Mahama, saying abusing language and violence is unacceptable running up to the November 7 Election.
NsromaMedia.com is however of the opinion that, Leaders of the party after this release should make a personal contact to the Boxer before he does the worse. A word to the wise is not necessary, tell it to the fool.
NDC Shall Accept No Abusive Language Endorsing Prez Mahama
The attention of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has been drawn to a Social Media Clip doing the rounds in which a certain celebrity has used very abusive language to endorse His Excellency President John Mahama to win the up-coming 2016 General Elections.
In as much as the NDC appreciates, and continues to appreciate the massive endorsement of President Mahama by all sections of the Ghanaian Society; the use of abusive and unacceptable language shall not be accepted.
The NDC is reiterating the fact that abusive language and violence is not our style of campaigning.
President Mahama is doing his utmost best as President of Ghana and Leader of the NDC to deliver on the Party’s pledge to build a Better Ghana and we believe that with God on our side, the majority of Ghanaians will vote in the direction of the NDC.
Never; will the NDC engage in the politics of insults!
Johnson Asiedu Nketiah
(NDC, General Secretary).
