Controversial ‘Counselor’ George Luterodt could be jailed for two years if he continues to offer counseling services and holds himself as a counselor.
Leaders of the Ghana Psychological Council argue that per Act 857 2013, George Luterodt is not a member of good standing and could slapped with a jail term if he goes ahead to flout the constitution of the group.
Speaking on Home Affairs Programme hosted by Serwah Akoto, the group reiterated its directive for the maverick counselor to stop holding himself as such or face the consequences thereof.
But ‘Counselor’ George Luterodt dared the Ghana Psychological Council to properly present whatever letter they claim to have against him instead of circulating it on social media.
He said the behavior of the Council is extremely childish since he has not received any formal letter from them.
Rubbishing allegations leveled against him that he is not a licensed Counselor; Counselor George Lutterodt stated emphatically that, until the Council presents the letter to him he does not see himself as the addressee.
“When the letter is addressed to me I will say what I have to say but until then I will not give them the platform they want. I do not want to give the Council the information they want. They want to know where I got my license from but I will not give them that information”, he stated.
Smiling cynically, Counselor George Lutterodt added “Unfortunately I am not Mr. George Lutterodt, that is the name written in the letter, my name is Rev. Counselor George Lutterodt and all my documents are gazetted as Rev. Counselor George Lutterodt . So the letter is not for me”.
