Ghana captain Asamoah Gyan has sponsored his worldwide fellow team member Andre Ayew to get the current year’s African Footballer of the Year grant.
The Swansea midfielder and Christian Atsu were a piece of the beginning 37-man shortlist put out by CAF yet a last rundown of ten players put out by CAF on Monday has Ayew in and Atsu out.
