Like a lot of 5-year-olds, Zavi Ahmed doesn’t like leaving the house without his favorite costume.
He’s definitely not the first kid out there to idolize Batman, but he might just be the first little kid dressed as a superhero to actually become one in real life. When Zavi told his mom he had to wear the Batman costume because of his superhero status, she had no idea just how right her son really was!
As Zavi was running errands with his mom, they came across a terrifying situation. Caroline Penny was also shopping with her 1-year-old granddaughter, Iris, when she was accidentally locked in the car as Penny was loading groceries in the trunk. As you know, a baby being locked in a hot car can be a terrifying and sometimes deadly situation, even if it was just an honest mistake.
If you ever find yourself in such a situation, click here to find out what to do, but also call the police immediately, like Penny did. Unfortunately, when police smashed the window, the hole was still too small for anyone to reach inside. That’s when Zavi came to the rescue in his Batman costume. The 5-year-old volunteered to climb through the broken window and grab the keys on the front dashboard of the scorching hot car.
There’s no denying that this kid has definitely earned his cape! Thank goodness he was there and willing to help!
