Music video directors are not respected in Ghana – Pascal Aka

Veteran Music video director Pascal Aka in an exclusive interview on AMpluzz with Sammy Baah Flex asserted that Ghanaian music video directors are not awarded the respect they deserve.

”We are not respected in Ghana and I am saying this base on my 4 years experience in this music video directing game.”

Pascal Aka refused to directly reply Shatta Wale’s blast on Ghanaian music video directors calling them lazy.

Shatta Wale blasted Ghanaian music video directors for being lazy and blamed them for delaying his videos.

”I don’t really know who provoked Shatta Wale,I personally am a great fan of his musics but haven’t worked nor met him before I saw that post he made on facebook but decided not to reply.”

The music director also added that there are many reasons that can keep a music video in the studios for a very long time.
He illustrated that money could be a key factor for a music video delay,in an explanation he stated that most Ghanaian musicians don’t pay well enough for a music video.

”Why would anyone take an interest in a music video that pays less as compared to commercial or advertisements that pays ten times what you are receiving from a music video. It is about prioritization.”
