Former President John Dramani Mahama has finally built a multi-million mansion in Bole his hometown in the Northern Region of Ghana.
The Former President Mahama who was the Member of Parliament (MP) for the Bole-Bamboi Constituency from 1997 to 2009 was consistently criticized by residents for his inability to build a house in Bole but preferred to live at the prestigious Cocoa Research Institute Guest house at Bole each time he visited the area.
Perhaps these criticisms made him build the house even though it seems he might not ever live in the house.
The General Manager of Bole-based Nkilgi FM, Mr Mahama Haruna who spoke to our source disclosed that residents of Bole have began to commend the former President Mahama for putting up the house which is the biggest mansion in the area.
He said Former President Mahama’s inability to build a house in Bole even though he became the MP for Bole-Bamboi Constituency and rose from being a Deputy Minister, Minister, Vice- President to President was one of the biggest campaign issue against him by the locals.
