President Mahama and others pay tribute to Muhammad Ali

We have recently reported that the American legendary boxer, Muhammad Ali has passed away. Public figures from all over the world has been shocked and paid tribute to one of the world’s best boxers. He passed away on Saturday. Ali died at the age of 74.

He was admitted in hospital on the last Thursday, because of respiratory disorder. Other boxing champions like George Foreman and Mike Tyson have also paid tribute to the greatest boxer of all time via social media.

Ghanaian famous personalities like President Mahama, Abraham Attah, Obrafour and many others are pouring in the tributes for Muhammad Ali. Numerous award winning Ghanaian young actor, Abraham Attah posted on Facebook, “He who pays respect to the great paves the way for his own greatness”. Rest in perfect peace, sir”.

President Mahama tweeted: “Sad to hear the passing of Muhammad Ali. He was our hero and truly ‘the Greatest”. Ghanaian music duo, Reggie N Bollie said, “R I P to the legendary Muhammad Ali. Condolences to the family.

You will be forever remembered”. NPP flag bearer, Nana Akufo-Addo tweeted: “Eloquent, brilliant, principled, and icon. The greatest boxer of the modern era. May he rest in perfect peace. #RIPMuhammadAli”.
