President Mahama popped up in all stories on the first page of google when we googled ‘BRIBE TAKEN’. Of course we did not add any name to it but the search engine gave those results. This is how google’s search engine works.
The three key processes in delivering search results to you are:
Crawling, Indexing and Serving.
Google navigates the web by crawling that understands exactly what you mean. Google’s crawl process begins with a list of web page URLs, generated from previous crawl processes, and augmented with Sitemap data provided by webmasters.
Googlebot processes each of the pages it crawls in order to compile a massive index of all the words it sees and their location on each page. When a user enters a query, our machines search the index for matching pages and return the results we believe are the most relevant to the user.
Images which pop up are usually from the sites which come up. In this case, the search engine found that Mahama is of relevance is issues of BRIBE TAKEN. This is the proof
Mahama has been named in an ongoing controversial GIFT which many argue should be considered as a bribe. This was his funny answer when BBC asked him if he has taken a bribe before.
