Saudi Prince Abdul Aziz bin Fahd — who was spotted looking like an unremarkable schlub outside a Manhattan club this week — spends a fortune annually visiting the city with his pals, sources told Page Six.
A source said of the 43-year-old billionaire royal, who was seen partying at Chelsea hot spot Avenue in creased “dad jeans” and sandals: “The dude spends millions every year visiting the city with his entourage.” And, “He comes to New York once a year, for around a month, and takes a whole floor at the Plaza or the Pierre . . . He rolls with eight to 10 friends.”
The youngest and assumed to be favorite son of the late King Fahd bin Abdul Aziz al-Saud, who died in 2005, is reported to be worth over $10 billion, with $1 billion in US property.
However, our source said his group tends to be more mild than wild in town.
“These guys hit the big clubs every night, but they don’t drink that much. On other nights, they’ll rent out an entire movie theater or bowling alley.” By day, “there are the shopping trips to Barneys and Bergdorf.”
Judging by the prince’s sloppy dress, he’s not much of a clotheshorse.
The Post reported he rolled up to Avenue with about 15 Mercedes-Benz sedans and was surrounded by bodyguards.
