Charterhouse, the organizers of the annual Vodafone Ghana Music Awards has come under heavy criticism from various musicians, industry players and the likes after this year’s VGMAs.
Some issues raised included why MzVee was awarded female vocalist of the year and particularly why EL was given artiste of the year nod.
Hiplife artiste and host of Kasahare show on Adom FM Pope Skinny has come to the defense of Charterhouse.
Pope Skinny labelled the Ghanaian musicians who are expressing their disappointments in the scheme as fake musicians and that had the award went their way, they wouldn’t be crying foul here and there.
Pope Skinny went on to hit hard that the musicians complaining the more that they should stop painting Charterhouse black.
